Is traveling to Cambodia safe?

Cambodia is one of the safest countries in Asia to travel to during the COVID-19 pandemic. With a vaccination rate of just under 88% of its 16 million population, the residents are very aware of the safety measures active in the country.

What do I need before entering Cambodia?

International tourists and travelers who have received full COVID-19 vaccinations and are entering Cambodia by air, land, or sea through international gateways must have:
– A valid certificate or a full COVID-19 vaccination card
– A valid certificate of negative COVID-19 (PCR Test) for 72 hours prior to departure from its respective country for Cambodia
– Upon arrival, take the COVID-19 (Rapid Test) and wait 15 to 20 minutes for the results.

If the result shows negative COVID-19, they are free to travel throughout Cambodia without regional restrictions, provinces, cities, and quarantine.

Will I need to quarantine upon arriving in Cambodia?

Those who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 and have a certificate of this can travel to other countries without having to go into quarantine upon arrival in Cambodia

What happen if I am not vaccinated?

International tourists and travelers who have not been vaccinated and are visiting Cambodia must take the PCR Test upon arrival and be quarantined for 14 days.

Is the usage of face masks mandatory in Cambodia?

Face masks must be worn outdoors wherever the 1-metre social distancing rule cannot be observed between people who are unrelated, including at events where attendees are seated in assigned seats.
