Unlike other floating villages in Siem Reap, Kampong Khleang is a destination that still maintains a good representation of the local way of life and allows you to enjoy a wonderful day on the shore of the lake.
Kampong Khleang is located about 50 km from Siem Reap town, It has the advantage of being the least visited floating village by tourists who are visiting the area. It is the furthest floating town from Siem Reap, so it’s a little-frequented place, and it’s worth the effort to go.
The truth is that it is a nice walk, refreshing and in which you can interact with the local people. You also can sail through the villages on stilts to see the buildings and the inhabitants were very friendly. What to see at Kampong Khleang
